Congratulations Matt!

Our very own Green Keeper Matt Watts has captured the 2013 State President's Reserve Singles crown, defeating Warren Towney of Dubbo Railway Bowling Club in the final at East Maitland Bowling Club over two days of play being Monday, 14/10 and Tuesday, 15/10/13.

Matt’s victory was built on the back of an early lead, racing out of the blocks to lead 29-11,Towney then fought back, clawing his way to 17, but it was a case of the early lead being too great to overcome, with Watts claiming two singles to close out the match 31-17.

Matt’s path to the final included victories over Maitland Park, Revesby Workers and Millthorpe, while Towney registered victories over Waverley, Rosehill and Tathra Beach.

Creightons Easter Tournament March 2013

On an unusally hot Autumn day, 22 teams thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

The program which included bowls, beer and a barbeque went exceptionally well.

Team Number 8 skippered by A Seisums took out first prize with a score of 23 points, which was the same score of team 15 skipperred by P Caddy. It took a countback on margins to seperate both teams.Coming a very close third was team 10 skippered by AHall on 22 points.

The Winning prizemoney was handed out by Cherelyne Mayo who on the day represented our sponsor of the tournament, Creightons Funeral Services.

Christmas Party 2012

This event was held on the 8th of December.

Long Serving members Colin Briggs and Phil Cribbin were presented with Certificates of Appreciation by President Terry.

Both regularly and unselfishly give up their times to assist the club when and where necessary at
various functions.

Robbo was also the recipient of a special "Thank You" by the members present on the day for his
untiring work behind the scenes.
